The OCF II Grid & Gel Holder was designed with the specific purpose of allowing for quick and easy light shaping. It can be safely attached to any Profoto Off-Camera (OCF) flash with the durable Profoto rubber mount and secured with the strong metal clasp. Once attached, the magnetic OCF II grids and gels can be clicked on and off in seconds, as well as be stacked for limitless creative possibilities.
There are two major changes to the overall design of the head. The first is that it now includes an Arca-Swiss compatible plate with our Pull/Twist security feature. Many photographers already own tripod kits with heads that are Arca-Swiss compatible so photographers can swap between Ball Heads and 3-Way Heads without needing to change QR plates.
The OCF II Gels allow you to be super-creative with color on the move. Have fun with colors that range from Rose Pink, Jade and Yellow to Peacock Blue, and naturally balance flash with ambient light with CTO gels, Quarter CTB gels, and Half Plus Green. The magnetic gels attach directly onto the OCF II Grid & Gel Holder or the OCF II Barndoor. They can be clicked on and off in seconds. With Profoto Connect, it's never been easier to create natural and beautiful light anytime, anywhere. It has no buttons and only three settings: auto, manual and off. In auto, you just point and shoot for a good exposure, because the flash power is calculated automatically. If you find the automatic flash exposure too bright or too dark, you can fine-tune it in the Profoto app* by a simple swipe. It can also be adjusted directly in your camera if it has the "Flash Exposure Compensation" function (sometimes known as "FEC").
The versatile and super-fast D2 monolight with TTL and HSS is up to any challenge. With the ability to freeze action at up to 1/63,000 of a second, shoot bursts of 20 images per second and sync with camera shutter speeds as fast as 1/8,000 of a second, the D2 is redefining the definition of speed in monolights. The D2 is offered in two variants – 500Ws and 1000Ws. You can buy a single D2 or a D2 Duo Kit with two heads.
The OCF Beauty Dish is a collapsible and more portable version of the classic Profoto Softlight Reflector. It creates a creamy yet crisp light, often referred to as a “beauty light.” The White Beauty Dish gives a softer and slightly more even light than its silver counterpart. When it comes to bringing out the beauty of your subjects, this is second to none.
OCF Softboxes create a soft and flattering light and they're designed to be fast and easy to use on location. Constructed from a unique material, they are lightweight and easy to fold and unfold, which makes them very compact and portable to carry in your location lighting bag. Add to that the fixed diffuser, the patent-pending speedring and the color-coded rods for extra fast set-up.
Cokin's Black Wedding filter has a dark (ND) area which darkens, soft focus' & reduces contrast of the lower horizontal section.
